SILVER WAVE YACHTS offers yacht registration services in a multitude of countries all around the world, but mainly Malta, Cayman Islands, Domenica, Palau and others.

Selecting the flag state of your yacht involves a decision making process as each flag state offers varying levels of benefits, protection, status and financial advantages. The vessel is bound to the law of its flag state who exercises regulatory control over it and its crew. Selecting the correct flag and registry is imperative.

Taking into consideration the owner’s citizenship, country of residence, cruising zone, his want or not to offer the yacht for charter, bareboat or crewed, the crew’s nationality and residence, the yacht’s origin (country of built) and more criteria, we will advise on where to register and take care of the paperwork and inspections.

Once registered, we will keep your registration and all its associated licenses current. All associated documents are available on our online portal.

The Management services of SILVER WAVE YACHTS are aimed to keep you yacht certified and travel-ready. As an annual calendar of the yacht is developed, it’ll provide clear and transparent vision to the Owner, Crew and Guests, allowing for swift process of yacht’s operations control. We ensure that your yacht not only never misses a date, but we stay ahead of deadlines by anticipating and tracking every recertification and renewal.

When a survey is due, the work that must be done to pass can be anticipated. This anticipation gives time to get several quotes, and negotiate prices on any upgrade needed. This avoids the added expense of last-minute pricing and your yacht being stopped.

SILVER WAVE YACHTS Management will maintain every one of your vessel’s certificates and ensure that they are all current.

A copy of each document is kept on our Online portal and cloud, which makes it available to everyone (crew, yacht management, owner) at all times. This also ensures we are always alerted well in advance when one is set to expire.

Our technical support

At SILVER WAVE YACHTS, we visit your yacht on a regular basis. During that visit, we go through an extensive check list with your crew and visually inspect all the major technical items of your yacht. We also talk with your crew members, determining whether there are technical issues that have not been raised before via email or phone.

We coordinate and supervise routine maintenance onboard yachts, deal with safety issues, manage classification of the vessel, and follow up with the regulatory bodies. We also help organize the full maintenance and technical work onboard vessels.

We have many years of experience in working with all types of contractors from around the world. Because of this, One-to-One Yacht Management has created a portfolio of very reliable contacts within the yachting industry worldwide. These contacts can be utilized for your boat, so its repair or service can be prioritized when the need arises.

Planned Maintenance System

We can also set up your Planned Maintenance System. We will enter into our powerful software every maintenance task that will need to be done for every piece of equipment on the vessel. A good PMS give you the assurance that every piece of equipment is maintained the way it is supposed to be and optimizes the chances not to have big technical problems in the future.

Financial management and control is one of the essentials for yacht’s smooth operations. Silver Wave yahcts will set up procedures, and provides reporting on all yacht’s financial transactions. Whenever possible, we will ensure that suppliers’ prices are competitive. Our services will include:

• Audit and control of all expenses, particularly those managed in cash

• Setting up a dedicated bank account for your yacht only

• Crew bank cards for heads of departments

• Online banking access

• Accounting for the boat, all invoices available online (stored in a secure cloud database) for review at any time

• Detailed budgeting on a yearly and monthly basis

• Financial reports to be provided monthly and annually: Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, Budget (example in Appendix)
